The Ins and Outs of Favicons

Example favicon What’s a “Favicon” you ask? The term refers to the icon you see at the left of the page URL in your Safari window before the actual URL of the page on the website you are visiting.

For example, if you go to www.apple.com, and look to the left side of the word ‘Apple’ when you arrive at the home page, you’ll see an icon sized version of the Apple logo.

You can add one to your website pages, too, if you would like to. We walk through the ins and outs of setting up ‘Favicons’ on a Sandvox website in this short article. Read on to find out how it is done!

New ideas? It’s easy to publish more websites

Do you remember when you published your first website with Sandvox? All you had to do was figure out what information was needed in each field of the setup area, and provide it. But what do you do when you’re ready to publish your next Sandvox website?

One topic that gets asked about regularly is publishing MULTIPLE websites with Sandvox.

This month, we’ve put together a short primer on this topic to help you take those ideas for additional websites out of the idea stage, and get them published!

Enjoy this month’s articles, and see you in the Sandvox!
