I have a site www.lighthouseinn.net which is hosted by Yahoo Small Business. To date I have never gotten Sandvox's built in publishing utility to upload the site properly. It's usually missing pictures and pages or just hangs and refuses to upload anything. When ever I try looking at the Publishing Transcript it's just an empty window.
My only current option is to Export and use Transmit to manually FTP the files up. Is anyone else having difficulties and possibly know of a solution? My site is not that big so I don't believe it's a size issue.

I don't know of any specific problems with Yahoo Small Business. Sandvox 2.5, which will be released shortly, has better Transcript support. I would recommend updating and publishing again. If you're still having problems, please contact Karelia Support directly.

I am now using 10.7.2 and version 2.5. I use the Kuler Solutions "Big Time" design.
I had updated to the latest beta version on Jan 23rd - just before going to 2.5.
Since that date none of my changes come through to my published site (on Mobile Me).
I have flushed the Safari cache as recommended. But can't see what i might have done wrong on Jan 23.

I have the latest sandvox version available via apple store and last OS X mountain lion and my problem is that sandvox forgot in how to update pages. every time i try to publish changes it goes through a very lengtily process of partially reloading everything with a lot of yellow triangles and incomplete uploading. Last time i had to export and FTP
Any solution
Thanks

I've been having the same problem using OS 10.7.4 with Sandvox 2.6.4, although the publishing does complete. But when it's only a minor update, it's frustrating to take that long.

Check the FTP subsystem in the preferences—ConnectionKit may work better for you. See http://kofrojl.clarify-it.com/d/qknk6y for instructions.

Hello, we are planning to remove the ConnectionKit subsystem in the near future. If you are repeatedly seeing problems like this, please contact support so we can narrow down the cause and fix it.

Mike,
I'd be careful about removing ConnectionKit---I've seen several issues with cURL not working for publishing. I know with my sites, it's would 'act' as if everything was publishing (through the UI), but then nothing new was on the server.
I've just done the experiment again with 2.6.4 and the cURL connection did work for me, so apparently it's fixed now (at least for my use case).

ConnectionKit is our super old, Sandvox 1 era publishing code. It works, but it is fragile and hard to improve. cURL is far more modern and works with a much larger number of server configurations. It will be to everyone's benefit if you report and we track down any remaining problems with cURL. (There was, apparently, an issue with the version of libcURL Apple included in the final build of Mountain Lion that we have tracked down and corrected with your help, for example.)
Update: the Mountain Lion issue turned out not to be with libcURL, but with our own resource management code. Nevertheless, the original point remains: the future of Sandvox publishing is cURL and we want to hear about any problems with that and correct them ASAP.

Spoken like a forward-looking developer! :-)
I'll be happy to do my part---I just hate to see people show up with problems that might not be easily fixable if the code is no longer present. Of course, I'm extra sensitive this morning because I wrote a bunch of software that used two different references to a database that migrated this weekend, and I only updated one of the references... Oooops! Luckily, my user community is tiny!
:-)

That sounds ominously like our 1960s and 1970s software development mantra (the good old days of Assembler and COBOL), "Only only one more condition to test…" ;-)
It says "Avenger," but I am just a Sandvox user who has been assigned the title of Avenger here in order to be able to delete spam messages. http://davidneale.eu/

I was one of those that helped track it down and I was amazed by how quickly I got feedback and questions to help fix the problem. I'm really impressed by the Sandvox team, keep it up.
