Web view headings with sub headings

How does one install sub items under items in the web view?

Example. Say you have an entry that says 'pictures' and want to place under it sub menus of several cities names of which you have photos.  So viewers would click the tab 'pictures' and then a list of cities would show up and then they would click the city of their choice for those photos.

Help is needed here-

Re: Web view headings with sub headings

To use your example, you make a main page called Pictures. Subordinate to that you make a page for each city, in which you place the individual city photos. In the Page tab of the Page inspector for each city page, you turn on the Menu as: checkbox and provide the menu title you wish (you can leave it as is already shown, if you wish). An example:

It says "Avenger," but I am just a Sandvox user who has been assigned the title of Avenger here in order to be able to delete spam messages. http://davidneale.eu/

Re: Web view headings with sub headings

If I understand you correctly, I think you'll be helped by this thread--It's the thread that helped me with a similar question:

http://www.karelia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=191

In that thread,  this post by Terrence really explained it for me:

"...make a new document
add a Photo Album from the New toolbar menu
add two more new Photo albums using the New toolbar menu
drag the third album onto the first album so that the second and third are now at the same level below the first
add photos to those two (second and third) albums
you now have two albums within a top level album and can drill down into them
let Sandvox create the grids and set up the connections for you"

Hope that helps.

Re: Web view headings with sub headings

Followed macdafydd's suggestions and all worked wonderful.  So far have three subordinates below the 'photo' tab with an downward arrow.

Thanks for all who responded. You people are great.  But as you know, Achilles called Agamemnon a shameless dog that he was (and no doubt a few other well chosen words that one cannot put in print).

Re: Web view headings with sub headings

I am new and my site is not yet published.  I have a main page with several subpages.  For instance, Travel:  WDW, Boston, NYC.  Each of those subpages will have more than one page of text and pictures.  How do I delete the forward and backward arrow when one group of subpages ends and the next begins?

Re: Web view headings with sub headings

If I understand what you are asking, you open the page (or select a group of pages in the Navigation column, I think that works, too), then go to the Page tab of the Page inspector; there you will see "Link to previous/next page:" and in the accompanying drop-down you select "None."
