We love using Tumblr as our blogging platform, perfect for on the move , post from a portable (i)Device... but there was not a 'nice and easy' way for that to be integrated into your Sandvox site ...until now!
Now you can post and blog from anywhere and have it published directly into your Sandvox2 powered web site , there is no need to note down that idea, wait till you get back to your Mac and then add some blog pages and publish. We think you will love this new time-saver in your Sandvox2 toolbox.
To summarise the main features
- Fast and Easy to setup
- Full Text Size and Color Control (no CSS know how required)
- Control the number of posts you want displayed
- Automatic Pagination included
- Dynamic integration with Tumblr, you post to Tumblr the plugin shows the content in Sandvox!
Note:if you use Posterous , you can auto post to Tumblr too and use this plugin.
Want to see it in action ? Then head on over to our Blog Page , yes this is what we use to show our Posts online.
You can watch our fast- track Video and buy the Tumblr Plugin for Sandvox2 directly from our Plugin Page.
by the way all our user guides are available at our new Helpdesk see link in our Web Site :)

But then I need two tumblr accounts?
I use my tumblr to shoot the posts into facebook, in facebook I have the tumblr application.
So when the reader wants to read the full post they click on the post in facebook and ends up in tumblr.
I rather they end up at my blog in my Sandvox site.
Any neat solutions?
I want the facebook user to leave facebook to end up on my site:)

There is not a lot i can do with the actual Post url as this is still marked as the originator which is Tumblr :) and since Tumblr autoposts to Facebook then Tumblr has control over this.
This is much the same as when using Posterous to autopost where the actual post links are at Posterous when sending Posts to Wordpress, FaceBook, Twitter , Tumblr etc

Saw there was a update posted for the sandvoxplugin for Tumblr updating it from 1.01 to 1.02 available on the sandvoxplugins. I downloaded and installed but had trouble with the install, having to first manually remove the older version of the plugin from my ~Library > Application Support > Sandvox folder and then it worked OK.

Thanks for the info

Do I have to have OS 10.6 to install this plugin? I have 10.5.8 and would rather not upgrade right now if I don't have to.
Offline
Yes, if you look here, http://svplugins.com/products/tumblr/
it says, * Mac OS 10.6.x is required as a minimum
