I have a client that wants to get more in control of his site. I have proposed Sandvox, but I can't find a design that looks much like his:
http://communic.se/
There are some really good ones, but they are all to dark (black borders, background and buttons). And I'm not in the mood to mess with the CSS.
Of course the client understands that it's impossible to create something that is identical. But he wants something that is light (as in "white).
Anyone that has a good idea? :)

Try Sandvox's included Distinction design. I migrated there from a third-party design after 2.x Sandvox was released.
Our end users are very pleased with the new "clean" look; I find it has a lot of design flexibility.

I am continuing this thread; I am looking for a design with no borders and no background.
Very much like this: http://larsgustaf.lusio.com/
but preferably the menu items below the banner.
It seems that all designs that are avaliable must include some kind of background, or a border or such. I like the dark backgrounds and framing, but sometimes I need more space!
Any suggestions?

Thanks,
look interesting. But... How come that *all* designs must have a background?
Look at this site for example, that may be recognized by some people: http://www.apple.com/.
No backgorund. Nice and clean.

Steven, those are the best examples yet, and actually some I already use.
But (why does it always have to be a "but"?);
I would like the White design to have the menubar below the picture instead of to the right.
The Cubic design have grey boxes.
I have actually mailed Charlie on Blueballdesign to fix this for me, but he haven't got the time to look into it yet.
These are wishes from my client, but also wishes from me. It's really hard to find easy and "spacey" Sandvox designs.
Thanks again!
Edit: "instead of to the right." should be "instead of to the *left*."

Sandvox 2 offers several predominantly white template designs, such as Distinction, which Maria has already indicated, and also Black & White, Clean Sheets, Minimalist and Something Borrowed.
It says "Avenger," but I am just a Sandvox user who has been assigned the title of Avenger here in order to be able to delete spam messages. http://davidneale.eu/
