Migrating my old site to Sanvox

I have been using Dreamweaver for many years and decided to give Sandvox a try. I am having difficulties migrating the entire site (Sandvox will recognize folders within the site that reside in my hard drive, but the entire site). Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: Migrating my old site to Sanvox

I am in a similar situation...a complete website done with Dreamweaver and I can´t find how to get the files into the Sandvox system.  But then again I am new to both Apple and Sandvox so please be patient with me.

Re: Migrating my old site to Sanvox

I do not think is possible to import from Dreamveawer or any other.

When I converted some iWeb sites, I just started iWeb & Sandox and did cut & paste.

Dreamveawer is a hardcore low level advanced time consuming tool for web-professionals.
Sandvox is a slick, fast and easy to use for the rest of us who do not want to "live under the hood"

I have been spending hours at lynda.com come to try to master Dreamveawer, but I realized that it is overkill for non-professionals. I am so pleased I shifted from iWeb and started to use Sandvox - even if there are some initial nasty bugs in the (a bit to early released) version 2.
(For those who don't get there sites working with 2.0, version 1.68 is fine).

I am on version 2.01 and it works fine for me with some minor work arounds).

I seem to have lost this thread in the shuffle. My apologies for the late response. Still getting used to the new forum.

There's really no way to import directly from Dreamweaver or iWeb -- proprietary formats, particularly in the case of iWeb. Copy/paste does work for most things, for what it's worth.
