Using the Contact Form

Please help an ole geezer out.

The contact form preview says, "Enter your email address in the Inspector." I have looked in the Inspector on all tabs and property pages and found no where to enter these. I am prepared to be embarassed when you point me to the obvious place. It happens all the time. :)

Re: Using the Contact Form

When you make a new contact form, you see a greyed box with instructions in it. Ensure this box is selected (small white rectangular handles left and right). Only then will the Inspector be applicable. Open the Inspector if it is not already open. Click on the Object Inspector (the one that looks like a blue square with handles at each corner). Complete the Message and Fields tabs as required.

It says "Avenger," but I am just a Sandvox user who has been assigned the title of Avenger here in order to be able to delete spam messages. http://davidneale.eu/

Re: Using the Contact Form

I am constructing my website using B&W. I have worked up a Contact page and have read that it will NOT allow attachments (from clients) to be used!!! Is this correct? If so why is this element allowed to appear in the Contact form?

Also, separate item, in Navigator, Collections=parent>child but what is experienced by the reader? Does one need to put multiple items on one page (parent no child)?

Re: Using the Contact Form

What is the URL of your website?
Is the contact form easily found?  i.e. listed in the site menu?

Re: Using the Contact Form

I just sent a test message from your site and all seems to go through just fine from what I can see.
If you do not get the email, check your spam bin and see if it went there.
