Publishing Failed  . . . (the following is in red typeface) . . is the service running of the server 97.74.215.205?
I have no idea what that message means.

What is "the service?"
What does the server number mean?
What does "is the service running on the server 97.74.215.205" mean?

I am running Sandvox 2..5.2, on Max OS X version 10.7.3.

This version of Sandvox has been working for me, I believe--unless it is very new (a week or two old), and  I have had no trouble opening it, making changes, and posting them.  Today's balking was a complete surprise, as was the message that is, to me, meaningless.

The site is: http://www.murderandwriting.com/

I am already losing an iWeb site in June.  I will hate to lose the Sandvox site, too, but I am completely stumped by this failure.
Can you help?
Thank you.
Kevin

Just installed the Sandvox 2.5.3 update.  It, too, fails, as described in my original message (above).  How about a response, Sandvox?  Days without access to my website are a great plug for WorldPress . . .or anything that can be relied upon.

IP address 97.74.215.205 belongs to Godaddy.com Inc, so are you trying to upload to a location on Godaddy? If so, you should read about the quirks of specific hosts in the Sandvox Help, either using the Sandvox menu Help>Sandvox Help, or, especially if you are using OS X 10.7.3 by going to http://www.karelia.com/sandvox/help/z/K … Hosts.html

It says "Avenger," but I am just a Sandvox user who has been assigned the title of Avenger here in order to be able to delete spam messages. http://davidneale.eu/

Yes, macdafydd, GoDaddy.com is my hosting company.  I'll check into that.  I will update, again, after I follow that lead.
Thank you (and Sandvox's Heather, who also provided info regarding host setup).
I'm wondering what happened that suddenly drove the site into glitch-land, when it had been working smoothly for quite a while-.
