Sandvox 2.5.3 is now officially released and is available immediately for download for customers running 2.x on OS X Lion or Snow Leopard.
You can grab it using Check for Updates or download a fresh copy directly from sandvox.com. For Mac App Store customers, please check the Updates tab in the App Store app.
Here are the complete release notes:
Sandvox has an option to store certain media, such as video and audio externally. Coming June 1st, the Mac App Store will start requiring the use of a new system for referencing these files on Lion.
The new system was introduced in OS X 10.7.3. When running on that OS or later, Sandvox will start adopting the new system by upgrading existing documents to use it. This is alongside our existing support, so documents will continue to be backwards compatible with older versions of Sandvox 2.
