I drag and get HTML code. Forgive me for asking just basic questions!

I don't even know what questions to ask! I've been trying since yesterday.  Not a long time, but time enough for frustration to set it.  Natural with any learning curve.  I cannot for the life of me get certain plugins to work.  At first I was trying to load a soundcloud HTML5 widget.  But every time I copy and paste, following their instructions, it just turns into html language and I don't know what to do with that. I did the same thing with paypal button. I thought it would act like a drag and drop item. How do I see it?  How do I translate this from HTML/HTML5 code to WYSIWYG page view? Hey, I'm completely new so be kind! Do I have to use the Raw HTML/Text page?

I'm on a MacPro 2.8Ghz Quad 10.6.8. It seems as though something is configured wrong.

Yes, you would go to Objects and choose the Raw HTML object, when you add that object you will see the HTML editing window pop up, paste your code into that window.

To learn how to edit raw html in Sandvox, go to Sandvox Help, either in Sandvox itself, or by following the link towards the top of this page, thn follow the "Look up topics easily" link, which will return a large index of topics. In that index, follow the HTML Editing link and so on from there.

It says "Avenger," but I am just a Sandvox user who has been assigned the title of Avenger here in order to be able to delete spam messages. http://davidneale.eu/

Well the problem stems from the fact that I didn't think I was "editing" raw HTML.  There's nothing that leads me to believe I'm editing raw HTML.

Oh, bTW  Thank you both!  I didn't want to come off as rude.  That certainly helped.
