Sandvox 2.6.2 update

Sandvox 2.6.2 was officially released this week and is available immediately for download for Karelia Store customers running 2.x on OS X Lion or Snow Leopard. (2.6.2 has also been submitted to the Mac App Store for review and hopefully will be approved and available from the App Store app shortly.)

Sandvox 2.6.2 includes an improvement to the Site Extractor that does a much better job at pulling in iWeb photo albums. The Extractor now also allows you to choose a local copy of your exported iWeb site so that you are not dependent on MobileMe hosting to grab the site contents.

Site Extractor

• iWeb photo galleries are neatly imported

• Ability to import a local copy of a website

Bug Fixes

• Addresses issues extracting existing iWeb sites

• Improves stability and performance of document saving

• Corrects an issue with custom page thumbnails placed in a photo grid

• Fixes a bug publishing an RSS feed that links to a full-size image

• Links to full-size images can be followed from within Sandvox again

• Corrects audio and video previews in Web Editor

• Extractor feature was accidentally missing from File menu for non-English localizations

• In-progress edits to text fields and tags in the Inspector are properly applied when doing something that opens a sheet, such as publishing

• Improves compatibility with some SFTP servers

• Minor design updates

• Help updates

Sandvox 2.6.3, another bug fix update, including improved compatibility with IE 7, is in beta for Karelia Store customers now and will be submitted to the Mac App Store for review shortly after 2.6.2 is approved.
