Verifying with Google

I got a problem verifying my site with Google using document inspector. I copied the tag and uploaded the site again but Google can't find it.
Is there another way of doing it? I got no idea how to work with html. I am using the metatag option.

Please help.

The best way to validate your site with Google is through the File > Configure Google Tools... menu item.
