Erik Vlietinck compared Sandvox's public beta with Apple's iWeb, and came to the following conclusion:

"iWeb is nice but almost strictly for amateurs and nerds who like to decipher Apple’s esoteric code. . . .Sandvox is for people who like to get results quickly. Its code is clean, understandable and easily changed and edited in more powerful coding environments."
