Using the Pro Edition's HTML editor window, you'll edit HTML or JavaScript with syntax coloring and you'll see your changes as they're instantly applied to the page.
And as long as your host supports PHP, or another scripting language, you can easily enter these as well. To review the results of adding these scripts you just need to upload the website and view it from the host's server.
Edit Raw HTML: Just click your mouse and you can choose any text element on a page, or in a pagelet, and you can edit it as Raw HTML. The Pro Edition's HTML editing capabilities let you easily:
- Make adjustments to formatted text
- Insert tables
- Format bulleted lists
- And work directly with the Raw HTML in many other ways
Raw HTML Pages and Pagelets: Let's say you want to create a page or pagelet made up mostly of custom HTML. The Pro Edition's HTML editing window allows you to do this without modifying any of the page's or pagelet's other structure elements. You can also use the Pro Edition to further define the <head> and <body> tags of the Raw HTML, allowing you to create a completely customized page within your overall website.
Code Injection: For pages of your website that need HTML, JavaScript, or scripting code - such as PHP - inserted in specific places outside of the <body> text, The Pro Edition's Code Injection panel makes this process so simple - for any, or all the pages of your site.
HTML Validation: Incorrect HTML can cause your site to look different, or offer substandard performance, to your visitors. And although most browsers are forgiving of malformed HTML, some aren't and your visitors won't stay around to look at a substandard website. But, with the Pro Edition, HTML validation is simple because it's integrated directly with the W3C Validator.
Naked Content: It's important for you to be able to understand how other machines - such as Google's indexer and accessibility equipment for the visually impaired - "view" your site. Sandvox Pro allows you to do this by letting you temporarily turn off CSS and see what the structure and content of your site look like without your styled layout.
