Like other software developers, we answer tech support questions, address bug reports, respond to customer requests, and constantly work to improve Sandvox. Whenever our days seem a bit too long, the messages that keep us going are the unsolicited ones we receive from happy customers. Here is just a sampling of comments from some of our more enthusiastic Sandvox users:
"Having designed web applications and static sites for better than 9 years now, I tend to be an old-school designer that approaches writing web sites with nothing but a text editor. I have found all the web authoring tools out there to be cumbersome and limiting with what they allow you to do. With Sandvox, I have finally found my nirvana - the built in templates are beautiful, and easy to modify to suit my taste, and include flexibility that is not found anywhere for those of us who prefer to write raw HTML on occasion. My wife also loves it as she is able to write her own blog in a way that is as easy as a word processor to use!" — Kimball Larsen (www.kimballlarsen.com)
"I LOVE Sandvox. So easy and professional looking." — Chris Gegas (www.signalpictures.com)
"I wanted to let you know about my site, which I built using the fabulous Sandvox. I knew nothing about website creation when I started and spent many months trying out different programs. When I discovered Sandvox I suddenly found software that worked perfectly for me; it felt good and intuitive, the designs were terrific and everything worked in tandem with my Mac. My site is now getting heavy traffic and everyone says how cool they think the design is." — Tommy Pearson (www.stageandscreenonline.com)
Sandvox is a great piece of software. It should be used in a software design class as an excellent example of an intuitive user interface. The features are accessible to basic users, but it is also powerful enough for advanced web designers. I've tried out different web publishing software, but they don't come close to Sandvox when compared on features, ease-of-use, and pricing. Andrew Soh (homepage.mac.com/andrewsoh)
"I shelled out for iWeb, built my new site in it, and quickly ran up against its limitations when working outside the box of its six template styles. . . . Sandvox is The Slickest Thing Ever when it comes to organizing a website that's deeper in some areas than others." — Lynn Noel (homepage.mac.com/lynnoel)
"I put up my site in July, to serve as a base for redistributing my out of print novels... Last week I got the biggest single boost so far, with a notice on BoingBoing. My traffic jumped through the ceiling, as did downloads, comments and emails starting rolling in, and I've been in and out of the site on a frequent basis, loading new files for download, updating postings, etc. Sandvox has performed for me with flying colors!" — Mayer Brenner (mayerbrenner.com)
"I'm a middle school teacher who doesn't have a lot of time to maintain a quality website for my class. Sandvox is the perfect tool for me because it allows me to quickly and easily provide my students with all the information they need to stay successful in my class and it really looks great." — Chuck Dresel (homepage.mac.com/cdresel/socialstudies7/ and homepage.mac.com/cdresel/socialstudies8/)
"Just downloaded the trial version of Sandvox. I love the interface and the ease of use. From a potential indie Mac developer's perspective it's a complete app. The help/video tutorials and innovative interface widgets... everything is impressive...Sandvox is a great inspiration. And it leaves iWeb in the dust." — Gautam Godse (featured in Apple's "Switch" ads)
"The continued development of the product and excellent support make [Sandvox] a standout." — Bill George (hawaiiquarterhorse.org)
"I am a HUGE fan of Sandvox, having come to it from Movable Type. I love that I can do the work offline and then upload it. With the application, I am able to do much more than my feeble HTML skills would allow. As you can see from my site, I actually have 3 blogs nested there. This has enabled me to put forward a more complete sense of who I am while also allowing people to follow only those parts that interest them. I regularly get compliments for the look of Jung-At-Heart ("Sunburst" design) and that is all thanks to Sandvox." — Cheryl Fuller (www.jung-at-heart.com/)
"I was able to get my website up and running in no time, I am getting positive feedback, and I have enlarged my original scope due to the ease of posting. I remain one happy customer." —Ann L. Hallstein (www.soulmattersonline.com)
"You should charge $999 for this. It's the best software I've seen on a Mac for ten years. And I'm a programmer, too." — Dale Hubbard
