You made it; it’s the future! It’s 2015!

Happy New Year! You would think by now all this computing technology could help us reduce our stress and be more productive. Actually, you might be right — we released an app for the iPhone at the very end of last year that should help.

Speaking of last year, in March of 2014 we acquired a company called Potion Factory, pretty much because we loved The Hit List and how it balances ease of use with some hefty power features. They also brought iOS experience and cool sync technology.

But primarily we share a mindset that apps should make life easier — like Sandvox makes creating a website easy, The Hit List makes staying on top of your tasks much easier. If you want computing to help you and not bog you down with yet another process, then you’ll love The Hit List. In this short article, you’ll learn a little more about The Hit List, the release of The Hit List for iPhone 2.0, and how it can help with New Year’s resolutions.

Last year, after the work of bringing together a new team was complete, the newly combined crew got to work on a new and completely re-imagined version of The Hit List for iPhone (requires iOS 8.1) and just before the holidays we released The Hit List for iPhone version 2.0.

A little help for those new resolutions

Using The Hit List is as easy as jotting down a note, or even making a whole list, and it is powerful enough to let you capture or plan, then move on and not worry about remembering, and then act at the right time. The Hit List includes access to its own fast and reliable sync service to keep tasks and lists in sync between desktop and mobile devices. You don’t have to remember to ask it to sync; it just syncs.

Shines on the latest iPhones

The new iPhone app design feels, works and behaves in a way that today’s iPhone users find natural. The Hit List for iPhone 2.0 includes workflow changes that make working with tasks, faster, easier and a pleasure to use. For example, if you want to see what you need to get done “today” just tap the “Today” view.

You don’t want your brain to have to hold onto remembering to get the dessert for your Saturday night dinner party. Put it in The Hit List and, like magic, on Friday it’s in your Today view.  Less Stress, more productive.

Simple things are just the beginning. The Hit List has just the right power features to support more complicated projects yet still keep things simple for you.

What customers are saying

The App Store doesn’t have a way to demo, but if you’re on a Mac, you can head to our website and grab a fully functioning demo version of The Hit List for Mac. If you like it, you can take advantage of our offers (extended through Jan 15), and remember sync is included.

Special offers thru January 15th

Our offers: The Hit List for iPhone 2.0 introductory priced at US$9.99 (regularly US$14.99); and The Hit List for Mac directly from Karelia Software for US$34.99 (regularly US$49.99, a $15 savings) by using the promo code “BetterTogether” on the Karelia online store.
