Karelia Software Releases The Hit List for iPhone 2.0

"Today" and "Upcoming" Hit Lists Take Center Stage in New Design, Now with Sync Included

Pasadena, Calif. - Dec. 17, 2014 - Karelia Software today released The Hit List for iPhone version 2.0, a new and completely re-imagined version of its popular task management app.

Now for the first time, The Hit List for iPhone includes synchronization for individuals also using The Hit List for Mac. In addition, The Hit List for iPhone version 2.0 represents an exciting new design of The Hit List for iPhone to take advantage of the new design and advances of iOS 8 and the iPhone, including iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

More than a new modern visual aesthetic, the new app design now feels, works and behaves in a way that today's iPhone users find natural. The Hit List for iPhone 2.0 includes workflow changes that make working with tasks, faster, easier and a pleasure to use.

Now, the "Today" and "Upcoming" hit lists are front and center. Task entry is fast and easy from anywhere in the app. Swipe left on a task to Delete, Move or to Cancel a task; swipe right for shortcuts to setting the start date to today, tomorrow or next week. A single tap presents a task's card, including a disclose arrow to set priority or repeat, and a simple down swipe dismisses the card.

Subtasks can now be added directly from a task's card. Dates can now be set from a new inline calendar that scrolls for faster access to far off task dates, or from the presented shortcuts to clear a date, or set to today, tomorrow or next week.

"We're pleased to release The Hit List for iPhone 2.0," said Dan Wood, president of Karelia Software LLC. "The usability improvements make short work of entering tasks quickly. The included sync service will make sure any individual who also uses The Hit List on the Mac stays up to date wherever they are working, or playing. Our goal was to make starting easy, provide useful features that stay out of the way, and all the power a serious GTD fan might need."

Designed for today’s interrupt-driven and busy life, The Hit List handles personal task management with a perfect balance of app power and ease of use. Using The Hit List is as easy as making lists on a Mac and/or iPhone, and powerful enough to let you plan, move on, and then act at the right time. The Hit List includes access to its own fast and reliable sync service for individuals to keep tasks and lists in sync between desktop and mobile devices.
